They're doing some earthquake retrofitting out at the old federal prison on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay. The job is creating plenty of concrete debris. Somebody looked at the rubble and thought: "Al Capone slept here. So did Machine Gun Kelly. And the Birdman himself. We oughta sell this stuff." So the National Park Service, which operates Alcatraz as a tourist attraction, is doing just that. For $4.95, you can own a piece of The Rock, which is roughly the same size as those hewn from the Berlin Wall.
