The Charred Ones

More than 650 vintage motorcycles were destroyed late Tuesday when a fire gutted the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, England. Local papers set the damage figure at $12.4 million but the money was secondary to the loss of the bikes themselves -- rare motorcycles as old as 1904, including classics from British manufacturers Triumph, Norton and BSA.
