This is Kata Sutra, highly unofficial mascot of
"Boing Boing" magazine and the
"Beyond Cyberpunk" Hypercard stack,
circa 1992.
And now, circa 2003:
"Meet Meg A. Byte, by day a hard-working graphic designer, by night a notorious software pirate."
(warning: two-point-one megabytes of squinchy animation)

I gotta like the way "Meg" has her scrappy little street-level design firm moving right into those gleaming corporate supertowers. Way to go Kata, I mean "Meg." When's the IPO?
What do you suppose the story is here? How did Kata Sutra ever get that P.R. job with the BSA, for heaven's sake? Did they do a proper background check on this woman? Has Homeland Security been informed? This piratical creature sure doesn't look very "reformed" to me. In fact, she doesn't even look any older than she was in 1992. Is it Botox? Growth hormone? What?
