Hail to the Chief

Hail to the Chief

A 59-year-old retired builder from Yorkshire, northern England, was surprised to learn he is a tribal chief with a claim to thousands of acres of land in Canada. Mick Henry's mother was English and his father an Ojibway Canadian soldier who served in Britain during World War II and returned to Canada after his son was born. His long-lost Ojibway relatives tracked him down through the Internet. "They are looking for a proper ceremonial name for me. I thought they still lived in tents and went hunting for their food. In fact they all have lovely houses and enjoy a wonderful lifestyle," Henry said.
