Joschka Fischer has been pretty busy lately.
Mostly disarming Iran. By talking at it, rather
than invading it. Looks like it's working. Sorta.
The German Foreign Minister dropped his
fourth wife and picked up a new girlfriend,
a comely Iranian film student. You can't say
the guy doesn't concentrate on the job at hand!
Some tittle-tattle from the German tabloid

"It's finally official: Foreign Minister Joschka
Fischer has introduced his latest girlfriend, a
university student 30 years his junior identified
only as Minu B., to the public, having his picture
taken with her at a Berlin street market. Some
naughty tongues have suggested that recently
divorced wife number four, Nicola Leske, 34,
just might have gotten too old for him.
"Rumors are now spreading fast that Fischer will
soon tie the knot with his newest love interest.
Apparently in these modern times of ours,
powerful men don't muck around with a secret
live-in girlfriend anymore, but go straight to the
altar, which can lead to an impressive list of
wives. Who'll have the honor to be the best man
at Fischer's fifth wedding also has chins
wagging. Top of the list is the 'Audi' chancellor
Gerhard Schrˆder himself, who earned this
nickname thanks to the four wedding rings he
has worn in his lifetime. We hope that the high
marriage frequency of Germany's top two
politicians isn't the only bond left in their political
companionship..." etc etc, boy, the German
press sure is enjoying that stuff.
Her name is Minu Barati. Maybe he'll marry her.
Maybe they'll even have kids! Imagine the PR
effect when Frau Minister shows up at state
events and she's a beautiful young Iranian!
That's probably going to play pretty well with the core Joschka electoral demographic.
