*Okay, so I didn't ask Chris Nakashima-Brown
for permission to reprint this praise from my email.
You can consider this a rare example of
pirated blog commentary. It's just like
the lavish commentary one sees for blogs
that aren't BEYOND THE BEYOND, only,
because Chris wrote it, it's actually worth
reading. So, well, I had to steal it right away.

Bruce, dude, your live journal over there at Beyond
the Beyond is starting to really rock. The first
truly 21st Century travelogue – cyber-beatnik-noir,
with ammo. The grizzled veteran of the Twentieth
Century wanders the the near-future landscape he once
imagined, battered laptop tapping the network through
jury-rigged components of roadside detritus, anemic
LCD glow the only illumination in the polluted rain
under the shadows of the Bahnhof – the author a
character in one of his own fictions made real. It's
like if Phillip Marlowe spent his days searching for a
"Hella Jongerius barbecue apron" and other
design-junkie arcana, it would read like this.
Keep it up! I am sure I am not the only one who is
digging this riff.
