Snake Man Dies of Bite

There has to be some luck involved in Boonreung Buachan's line of work. Buachan, 34, spent seven days in 1998 living in a glass box with a bunch of poisonous snakes, earning the Thai a place in the Guinness Book of World Records and a nickname: the Snake Man. But Buachan's luck ran out on Monday, when he died from the bite of one of his cobras while performing during his daily serpent show. There was a delay getting Buachan, an epileptic, to the hospital because it was at first believed he was suffering a seizure. Cobra venom is especially potent and the delay proved fatal.
