I just got back from San Francisco,
where I was at a regional meeting of the
Industrial Designers Society of America.

There I saw Mr. Justin Hall deliver
a brief but barnburning rant on why
and how cellphones in Japan and Korea
are different animals than American
cellphones. Justin knows rather a lot
about high-bandwidth cellphones and
the cultural vagaries of their behavior.
That was intensely interesting. After
that, I felt all edutainment-ized.
