This weekend, Denmark witnessed one of the largest media events in its recent history: the marriage of Crown Prince Frederik to "Australian commoner" Mary Donaldson.
Hans Nyberg, who runs Panoramas.dk claims to be the first VR photographer to cover a major news event as a series of full-screen panoramas.
"I was assigned by the Danish Radio to do panoramas from the event," Nyberg writes. "This is -- as far as I know -- the first time a large event like this is covered as 360-degree panoramas and also displayed as full screen QTVR."
The full screen pictures, which are quite stunning even if your a staunch anti-royalist, are available on Panoramas.dk and Danish Radio's special wedding website.
