I met Dr Arthur Olson from Scripps Research
at SIGGRAPH. He fights HIV by modelling its
molecular structure.
He then reached into his pocket and showed
me the coolest realization of DNA that I
ever saw. It was two kinky chains
of sintered CAD-CAM plastic held together with
teensy magnets.
