Potty Mouth

Talking toilets spouted off on the perils of smoking or the futility of war and commented on citizens' hygiene and cleanliness in Amsterdam this week. The first such toilets, fitted with sensors to detect what visitors do, were installed in a central Amsterdam cafe. Creator Leonard van Munster sees the project as an artistic venture and will build more if the demand exists. "You might consider sitting down next time," the toilet told a male Reuters reporter in a female robot voice. The next user heard: "The last visitor did not take heed of basic rules of hygiene."
