The local village of Saas-Fee is a tidy and pleasant
ski-resort town. It does have one
remarkable oddity, though. Those are the "Masken"
or traditional carved heads.
I assume that one is supposed to create these
things during long, cold winters while utterly
snowed in. I guess it beats an attack of
cabin-fever when you take the hammer-and-chisel
to your roomates.
