IBM fellow Grady Booch can't take Microsoft any longer.
In need of a new machine, Booch opted for a shiny new 17-inch Apple PowerBook instead of a machine from his employer, Big Blue.
"Is it therefore curious for me, an IBMer, to be carrying around a non-IBM laptop?" he asks on his blog.
He answers his own question thus:
Ouch!
For a long time I've been meaning to write how the world's technological elite has migrated en masse to OS X. Bill Joy, ex-Sun, is a good example.
The problem is coming up with an unbiased list. Of course Steve Jobs runs OS X, but Bill Gates (probably) doesn't. If anyone has any ideas, please drop me a line.
