It Is Brain Surgery

If you're in London this week, you can look in on an operation taking place in the United States. As surgeons at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey remove a benign tumor from the brain of a patient, medical voyeurs at the Dana Center in London's Science Museum will be able to observe the surgery by way of live cameras. They can even ask questions. The event is the second live operation beamed to the center. The adults-only venue uses stand-up comics, scientists and technology to explore a variety of subjects -- in one case, holding seances to unravel the mysteries of the paranormal.
