Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow director Kerry Conran is a genuine Mac nut.
We knew this already of course: Conran began the movie on a Mac IIci, and as Digit reports, most of the movie was created on Macs.
But this quote speaks volumes: "(Special effects supervisor Darin Hollings) says when he first met director Kerry Conran: 'he handed me a 15-inch PowerBook as soon as I walked in the door. He told me 'You're going to learn OS X.' Kerry was such a proponent of the Mac that he wanted to make the entire movie in Cupertino.'"
Reminds me of Spike Lee hiring all black crews for his movies.
