I am reliably informed (by a computer scientist)
that "Towers of Hanoi" is a conundrum of
intense interest to computer science and
of trifling interest to any other discipline.
So if computer science has an
intellectual homeland, then the
Towers of Hanoi are the homeland's
towers.
