Microsoft's evangelist blogger (and blogger evangelist) Robert Scoble thinks he's found a counterpart in Adrianna Tan, an Apple store employee.

"Adrianna Tan is gonna be famous. She's working at an Apple store (in Singapore?) and writes a passionate blog. I wonder what she thinks of Microsoft Office for the Mac?

"I tell potential switchers I really don't give a damn if they close the sale with me there and then, or if they buy anything from me at all - as long as I know I've done my job in sharing the good news, it doesn't matter if I get the sale: and usually, they come back to me because of that."

She is Apple's next great evangelist."

But the compliment isn't returned. In September, Tan wrote:

"I've just read a terribly inane tech blog where the author, a "Microsoft Geek Blogger", makes inane remarks about how some top restaurant uses a Tablet PC to take wine orders."

But now she's contrite. In the comments to Scoble's post, she writes, "I posted what I posted in the heat of the moment, like most bloggers do... We fight different battles of course, but if we keep going at what we love - the world doesn't lose anything. As long as mutual respect is in place, of course."
