Looking for a Christmas present for a Mac nut? I highly recommend Jake Barnes' iBrotha movie, a short film about Mac fanaticism, Malcolm X-style.
Shot in London, iBrotha stars Neil Rayment from the Matrix sequel as a Mac revolutionary who dresses sharp and fights for Apple – by any means necessary. (See this Wired News story from 2002).
The movie has a great sense of humor and contains lots of very funny jokes. I bellowed loudly several times – real, genuine belly laughs. I thoroughly enjoyed the film, and was disappointed when it finished after just 10 minutes.
However, the DVD's extras – the script, stills, and some website links – provide further amusement. I was particularly tickled by the cast bios.
At $10 plus shipping, the DVD makes a great stocking stuffer. Order it from the iBrotha website. Here's the iBrotha trailer, which doesn't do it justice. Note: the movie's black and white.
