I went to Yosemite.

Real Californians never visit Yosemite National Park

because it's corny, and only foreigners and fat out-of-staters

in RVs would go there.

However, it's well worth a look, not the least

for the sake of the climate change. Check out

the hijinks at "Bridalveil Falls." This fabled landmark is

supposed to be thin and wispy, like a 'bridal veil,'

okay?

This torrent is not the falls; it's water being blown sideways

OFF the falls.

Those are my feet. I'm ankledeep in freezing floodwater,

on a paved walkway about thirty feet from the viewing

platform. The Falls themselves were invisible, just

a huge blinding gush of fog.
