Deadication

Two events in San Francisco honored the memory of Jerry Garcia this week. A new gallery at City Hall installed his artwork and his native city officially renamed a McLaren Park amphitheater in his honor. Festivies included Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart leading a 200-person drum circle, Jefferson Starship and David Gans playing music, and Wavy Gravy acting as MC. But does an amphitheater bearing your moniker measure up to having a flavor of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream named after you?
