Yahoo Phone to Hit Cingular Next Year

Reuters is reporting this morning that Yahoo will soon be rolling out its own cellular handset on Cingular's network. Integrating Yahoo online accounts closely into the phone's software, the new handset will serve as a portal to Yahoo's news, music, entertainment, and data features, presumably taking the company's existing mobile service a hearty step forward. It will also have a 1.3MP camera and an MP3 player built in. No word yet on when we'll actually see this or what handset it'll be based on.
