missed the boat, bought the book

Back when I was jamming to complete The Sexual Revolution 2.0 and to write an original, never-before-published chapter for Naked Ambition, editor Russ Kick invited me to contribute to an anthology, and I said I would ... and I outlined a piece ... I even wrote a paragraph ... and then I missed the deadline. Too many writing projects going on at once. I don't think I've ever felt so creatively empty as I did that month, having poured so much out into columns and chapters.

However, the anthology came out just fine without me, and features a number of writers you'll admire.
