AHMEDABAD: After rocking the BJP and the RSS, the now controversial Sanjay Joshi CD has acquired a new nomenclature — RSS Ki Mahanata and is all set to rock Ahmedabad's pirated porn CD market with porn peddlers claiming to have managed a copy from Bhopal on Wednesday.
The demand for the CD was very high ever since the controversy came to light last month, but with no copies available, it was difficult to procure it.
However, since Wednesday morning, Ahmedabad's pirated porn CD market is churning out hundreds of copies of the CD after the only copy reached the city. Informed sources told DNA, "Many more copies are being made and will be sold at a premium price Rs 150 per copy in Kalupur, Relief Road and other popular CD shops in the city from Thursday."
As if the CD was not enough, the tech-savvy pirates of Ahmedabad are working hard at converting "steamy scenes from the CD" into MMS clip, to be circulated for free for "public benefit". It is a game plan to create awareness and curiosity by the hyper-active sleaze market.
A local source, who was repeatedly approached by dealers to provide the CD said, "The dealers received numerous demands by locals about the Joshi CD. Procuring it from Gujarat was very difficult; so I contacted my sources in Bhopal who finally helped me out. I passed it on to my friends who are in the piracy business. They were thrilled and I believe they are even planning to convert it into an MMS clip."
There are thousands of pirated pornography CD sellers in areas like Kalupur, Gandhi Road, Relief Road and Lal Darwaza in Ahmedabad.
The music, film and porn piracy industry in Gujarat is pegged to be worth an astounding Rs 822 crores per annum - 10 per cent of the national market.
