It didn't take long for excitement over the MacBook Pro to morph into bewilderment over the system's lack of a PCMCIA slot. Apple's decision to move to the newer ExressCard/34 standard left many wondering whether their favorite add-ons would be available for the new machine. Well, those of you who were hoping for an EV-DO option using Verizon's network can take heart, because it appears that there will be an EV-DO ExpressCard for the MacBook Pro.
