November 1, 2005, Ediciones B Chile, in NOVA
Collection, has published YGDRASIL, written by Chilean
author Jorge Baradit (36).
It’s the first time a science fiction book is
published by an international publishing house in
Chilean history. And the first Latin American to be
published in the famous NOVA Collection.
YGDRASIL has been presented as a “Speed-overdosed
Chicano cyberpunk, combining hard porno, local
folklore and mythology at hallucinating cosmic scale”.
(((Hey, what's not to like there?)))
YGDRASIL was chosen by local newspaper critics to be
among the most important published novels of 2005 and
among the 10 unforgettable novels of 2005 by Chile’s
version of Rolling Stone magazine.
Now a best seller in Chile’s bookstores and with
presence in Argentina, Uruguay, and USA (through a
Latin American bookstore established in Miami),
YGDRASIL is preparing its final assault to other
Hispanic American markets, to spread its weird, toxic,
illuminated and surrealistic world.
