This fleshes out a takeback program initiated with the iPod awhile ago. Unlike with the iPod, there doesn't appear to be an associated discount credit offered for computer recycling, but then, iPods are a lot cheaper to recycle than ancient computers. I'm working on a more in-depth story about Apple's environmental policy and recycling at the major computer companies. Look for it on Wired.com's main page next week.
