This is the oldest building in Brisbane; it was built by convicts,
started as a punishment treadmill, went through various
repurposed vicissitudes, and now it's 105 percent heritage
economics.
They did a pretty good building job, those convicts,
and I rather imagine that if they somehow saw their labors
now they'd have to feel rather pleased with themselves.
