The last few days have been rough. I've had to post these entries from my actual computer, at my actual desk! Indoors, sitting down ... not really the way I prefer to do things.
My Treo, you see, lost its audio capabilities due to a botched surgical procedure, and this week I sent it off to be repaired. So if I want to check email, browse the web, play timekilling games, map my surroundings, administer my servers, work on my novel, or even talk on the phone, I can no longer do it from wherever in the city I happen to be.
Fortunately my poor Treo is in the good hands of one Mr. Nono of Treotricks.com, who is not only fixing the audio problem but also grafting a headphone jack into the antenna:

So I can plug in normal headphones without an adapter, and I don't have to twist everything around to plug them into the underside of the Treo, and I can continue to not buy an iPod. And my hotrodded device will be the coolest on the block.
