
UPDATE: As reader Eric pointed out below, this is, indeed a recurring event that just happens to be falling the day after everybody is expecting to see the MacBook drop. I knew Apple wasn't going to do let a third party slip up and announce one of its products...
A Manhattan CompUSA location has apparently further let the cat out of the bag about Apple's impending announcement of an iBook replacement, widely expected to be called the MacBook.

This does look to be a straightforward PR timing mistake (everyone's expecting the MacBook tomorrow), but it could be less than it appears to be. Apple retail representatives swear up and down that they learn about product launches when readers do, and that Apple keeps them in the dark just as much as everyone else.
Why Apple would let CompUSA know for certain before anyone else is fishy. I'm going to follow up with this in a bit.
