The grandaddy of Hummers is being laid to rest. GM has terminated the largest model, the H1 (or Alpha).

The H1 listed for $140,000, or the same amount I paid for a 3 bedroom house in 2002. Now folks looking to dominate the roadway and intimidate mere mortals have to settle for the smaller H2 ($53,000) or H3 ($30,000).

At 8,000 lbs it will take a huge casket to bury the H1. Shed no tears for this behemoth.
