Say what you will about Flash, stick figures lead much more interesting lives since it came into being. Case in point, Johnny Rocketfingers 2, in which a very angry and violent stick man with the eerie ability to grow hands when necessary wreaks havok and/or dies bleeding depending on what you tell him to do. It's actually a pretty sophisticated game. Warning: blood, violence, and God knows what else, I didn't get all that far into it.
