Your brain, like your muscles, needs regular exercise to get - and stay - in shape. At least that’s the theory of Japanese neuroscientist Ryuta Kawashima, who developed a series of cerebral calistenics for his brain-training books. Then Nintendo ported his popular regimen to its DS handheld. The Brain Age game, now available in the US, is hosted by a 3-D representation of Kawashima. Here’s a sample workout.
