Apple's foray into concert ticket sales is not off to a glorious start.
As documented in several threads on Apple's discussions page, many Red Hot Chili Peppers fans who preordered the new album, Stadium Arcadium, were disappointed Monday when a promised presale TicketMaster code offered by Apple never came.
The trouble is, May 8 came and went, and no one got their presale codes. Now we're into this morning, and 10 a.m. local time has come and gone for some venues, as well.
There are some choice quotes in the thread linked above, as well as some interesting responses from Apple tech support. This is one of my favorite posts, from PCRetarded:
I am shocked to learn "ituneskissmyass" is not the secret code. Many of the people in the thread say they received blank e-mails from Apple that should have carried the promotional code. It's a bit of a mess, really.
