IGN Relaunches Dreamcast Channel

Poor Dreamcast! Cut off from the world not two years after your 1999 launch. Somewhere deep down inside of us, we all have fond memories of Sega's ill-fated final console. None so much, perhaps, as five dedicated IGN editors, who have decided to resurrect the site's Dreamcast channel. In their free time, mind you.

They give the following reasons for their actions.

8. Some wrongs (Oooga Booga - 9.4) must be righted

7. They wouldn't let us relaunch IGN Xbox 360

6. People (three of them) have been begging for this!

5. Ulala came to us in a dream and told us this was our destiny

4. Needed to justify bringing "mascot hedgehog" into the office

3. The Dreamcast didn't fail, we failed the Dreamcast

2. It's what Jesus would do (if he were a gamer and didn't have to die for our sins)

1. We're total idiots

I'm disappointed in the lack of "frothing demand" references, but I am sure this will be rectified when the Ikaruga feature inevitably hits.
