
Rick Trouton of The Apple Blog provides details for how to get Mac OS 9 up and running on Intel Macs through the Sheepshaver environment.
It doesn't look like an impossible process, and for users who need some older applications, it's a godsend. Performance is bad, but it's emulation. It happens. Most importantly, it can run PowerPC applications, which Basilisk cannot.
