Liquids and gels bought in the terminal areas beyond the security checkpoint, along with small quantities of toiletries in carry-on bags, are now allowed on planes again, according to new rules issued by the the Transportation Security Administration today.
Toiletries need to be in bottles holding less than three ounces a piece and packed together in a resealable and transparent plastic bag. Like laptops, they need to be pulled out and put in a bin for screening.
