NeoGAF poster "Thomper," who clearly originates from foriegn lands, writes that in his country, Brain Age has been swiftly ripped off by unscrupulous PC game makers. Check out how brazen it is -- the divided-head logo looks almost cut-and-pasted.
Oh well, imitation, flattery, all that. Pending lawsuits notwithstanding, this serves to illustrate just how well Brain Age is doing even outside of Japan. In fact, last night, I was in a bar playing Phoenix Wright while waiting for a concert to start, and the woman pouring my drinks was all, "What's that," and I explained it, and she says, after noting that she has absolutely no interest in games at all: "Oh, is that the one with the mind-sharpening software?"
