male fertility patients tested at the clinic. Among the group, heavy mobile phone user had fewer and less energetic sperm.
For example, men who did not use mobile phones were found to have average sperm counts of 86 million wigglers per milliliter. Those who used a phone for more than four hours a day scaled down to a mere 50 million. Agarwal suspects electromagnetic radiation or heat generated by cell phones may be to blame.
