Creating embittered Mac users is easy: ignore them. Sling Media has performed admirably on this front since releasing their TV-streaming Slingbox almost a year ago, but all is now cool. Sweetness reigns now they've finally released an OS X client.

Slingbox does one thing very well: streaming TV to any PC that can get to it. The lack of Mac compatibility's been an annoyance for months, however, with the promised early support getting it a lot of buyers. With several delays and nearly a year to see the final result, their rage is understandable. Sling Media promises rapid updates on the still-cruft beta client.

To quote one user who wrote to us on the issue, "I'm not sure how many Mac users are going to believe that ANYTHING at Sling Media will ever rapidly evolve, but I know a lot of users will be excited to try this new software."
