The Associated Press has a story on how PlayStation 3 prices aren't hitting the ridiculous heights that everyone assumed they would on Yahoo! Auctions in Japan:
I'm not exactly shocked. It's likely that after PlayStation 3 actually launches in the US, eBay prices will come down significantly because supply will go up (from zero) and demand will come down (because the craziest of early adopters will already have their units. That's likely what happened in Japan.
