
GamaSutra reports on GameStop's recent conference call, in which the game specialty retailer gives a bunch of interesting data on the new console launches:
Not a bad tie ratio for Wii, but low for PS3 -- and GameStop says that's because so many units were purchased without software for resale. In the coming weeks, expect the tie ratio to jump up as consumers get their hands on the eBay PS3 supply and start buying games.
GameStop also said that it expects a "more consistent" resupply of PS3s from Sony than Microsoft was able to manage with Xbox 360 shipments last year.
