Friday, 10h-13h : workshop "RFID map" with Christian Nold (UK)
How can we conceive the discursive space of RFID? Everybody seems to be guessing about the future implementation of this technology whilst nobody seems to have an overview. The aim of the map is to provide this overview that is so sorely lacking at the moment. In order to gather the data for the map, the workshop will discuss experiences and ideas around RFID and will present and experiment the Affect Browser software. The aim is then to do some small scale tests with the software and create some diagrams in order to build some groupings around RFID.

The invitation of Christian Nold in Orléans is part of a regional project in 2006-2007 at the initiative of Bandits-Mages (Bourges), CCC (Tours), Ellipse (Tours) and Labomedia (Orléans).
