California has been making national headlines for its stringent anti-game legislation, but a bill that gamers might find more agreeable could be introduced by state assemblywoman Lori Saldana (right).
GamePolitics says that Saldana "may introduce a bill into the state legislature to stop in-game ads and spyware from being installed onto players’ PCs by the software installation process."
Seems like this is all inspired by Battlefield 1942's included spyware.
