Congratulations are in order to the Penny Arcade crew, who announced today that the total donations for their Child's Play charity donation drive have come really, really close to half a million bucks.
They'll likely blow last year's $600,000 figure right out of the water, too, considering that not only are there still a few weeks left for the donation drive (in which you purchase gifts on Amazon that are sent directly to children's hospitals around the world) but their annual swanky black-tie dinner auction is filled with goodies that should rake in huge amounts (like a speaking line in Halo 3).
I personally gave the gift of Kirby to the Oakland Children's Hospital. Do your part. It makes you feel all squishy and tax-deductible inside.
