Joel Zumaya missed three games during the American League playoffs due to an initially mysterious injury that Tigers' trainers eventually blamed on Zumaya's relentless shredding of solos in the Guitar Hero videogame:

"During the radio interview, Dombrowski said the Tigers' athletictraining staff discovered that Zumaya's forearm pain was moreconsistent with the action of a guitar player than a baseball pitcher.
The Tigers asked Zumaya to stop playing the video game, and he did.
Zumaya then pitched pain-free during the World Series, and went 0-1
with a 3.00 ERA in three appearances."

If I were on the Tigers' training staff, I'd probably pay a few visits to Zumaya during the off season. Guitar Hero 2 is out, and Zumaya has almost certainly upgraded by now.
