Elite Beat Agents is the best game on the Nintendo DS, and not enough of you have bought it. That's the word from NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime in a recent interview with MTV News:

"I have to say I'm a little personally disappointed," he said. "The sales are strong and good. I personally thought it was going to be explosive. The consumers I've talked to who have it love it. But it's really [about] exposing it to consumers and letting them see how addictive this game is." He said he hoped for 300,000 copies sold, but as of last week, the game had sold closer to 120,000. Still, he wouldn't rule out a sequel. "The developer has been fantastic to work with and our hope is maybe this could become a new franchise."

Reggie is disappointed in you, America, and so am I. Go buy Elite Beat Agents and make our shared dream of a new franchise -- a new franchise! -- a reality.
