In response to the earlier post about turning human fat into fuel, a commenter said simply:
Biodiesel is PEOPLE!!
OK, I know it's not terribly original. But it still made me laugh, and who am I to talk? I haven't had an original thought since the Reagan Administration.
This reminds me... a few weeks ago, a friend of mine gave away a crucial plot point on "Grey's Anatomy," knowing full well I hadn't caught up to any recent episodes.
I promptly informed her [SPOILER ALERT!] that:
1. Soylent green is PEOPLE!
2. It's a COOKBOOK!
3. Rosebud is the SLED!
Not being a pasty-skinned pop-culture geek, she had no idea what I was talking about. Grrr.
Thank God she's not a smart-and-long-lived-but-annoying vegetarian. Then I would totally stop talking to her.
