O.K., so this prototype, flip-screen, dual-display cellphone is actually by brilliant Korean inventor Hong Jeong. Revealing his Dual LCD Phone at Seoul's International Invention Fair 2006, the ingenious chap is already getting his patents filed and looking for interested manufacturers.
With one LCD panel on each of two curiously-hinged displays, such a handset could allow users to conduct a videophone conversation, or watch a movie, while fiddling with PDA functions on the other screen. Two applications could be run simultanously in different windows, making clipboard operations easier to accomplish.
This is the part of the post usually occupied by a list of specifications, incrementally superior to those from the last near-identical handset. Alas, real innovation is rarely described by numbers.
