I seem to recall reading about how handicapped people have controlled computers using only their brains. New research out of the University of Washington sounds familiar.

Rajesh Rao, associate professor of computerscience and engineering, and his students have demonstrated that anindividual can "order" a robot to move to specific locations and pickup specific objects merely by generating the proper brain waves thatreflect the individual's instructions.

Is this anything new, or have scientists been accomplishing this before now? And when an I order a robot to clean the bathroom?
