This just in from the Do I Really Want to Know This? Department... Scottish researchers think brain scans could predict who's susceptible to develop schizophrenia:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans have revealed keychanges in the brain's grey matter in a small group before theydeveloped symptoms.

The finding suggests tracking these changes over time,
combined with traditional assessments, could help doctors to predictillness.

The problem is that predicting schizophrenia is kind of like predicting Alzheimer's: what can you do about it? And once you have it, treatments are limited.
